Tammam Abboud is an associate Professor of neurosurgery at university medical center Göttingen. He received training in neurosurgery at the university medical center Hamburg-Eppendorf, where he established intraoperative neurophysiology. His research fields include neuro-oncology and neurophysiology. His works focused on interoperative monitoring, especially on motor evoked potentials during surgery for brain tumors. His research group at the University Medical Center Göttingen is currently exploring a new protocol for preoperative language mapping in patients with brain tumors.
