Álvaro Medrano, BITSPHI DIAGNOSIS CEO, MSc in Electrical Engineering (Politécnica University, Madrid9), MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering at Cranfield University (UK), he was awarded with the Royal Aeronautic Society Prize for being the best aeronautical engineering graduate in year 2001, and with the Vega Space Systems Engineering Prize for its MSc Thesis regarding Satellite Attitude Control. 
In 2015 Álvaro López-Medrano founds BITSPHI after developing a cognitive mathematical. BITSPHI has reached a framework agreement with the Center of Biomedicine Technology of the UPM, led by Professor Fernando Maestú, in which the model is being validated with neuroimaging techniques in order to apply it to the diagnose and treatment of neurological diseases
