Prof. Dr. Tonio Ball is a distinguished researcher in the fields of neurotechnology and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) as the head of the "Neuromedical AI Lab" at the University Hospital in Freiburg, Germany. Additionally, he serves as a Visiting Professor at King's College London and is the Head of the clinical research area within the Cluster of Excellence BrainLinks-BrainTools at the University of Freiburg. Dr. Ball is also an entrepreneur, serving as the CEO of NeuroMentum AI GmbH. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including neurotechnology, bio-signal analysis, electroencephalography (EEG), deep learning for brain signals, and the applications of augmented and virtual reality in neuroscience.
