Dr. Frank Zanow studied Electrical Engineering at TU Ilmenau (Germany) and received his Ph.D. from the University of Twente (The Netherlands) in 1997 in the field of Applied Physics. Since the establishment of ANT Neuro in 1997, Dr. Zanow successfully led and expanded ANT through skillful management, building a great team focused on the development of innovative hardware and software products. The company now operates globally and provides innovative neuroscience and mental health related solutions, which are in continuous evolution to satisfy an ever-growing market. Between 2014 and 2023, Dr. Zanow was temporarily enrolled as EU researcher at various European universities and remains actively involved in innovation. He is author and co-author of numerous publications related to EEG instrumentation and EEG/MEG applications. To date, Dr. Zanow is the CEO of several entities, which have a strong presence within the global neuroscience and healthcare market.
The presentation will give an overview of ANT Neuro’s journey from a software start-up to a leading medical device manufacturer and the organization’s engagement in various fields of application for non-invasive neurotechnology. The presenter will emphasize the need for continued innovation considering the great potential of EEG as a non-invasive, easy to apply and accessible technology relating to brain health.
Closed-loop applications of transcranial electrical and magnetic stimulation utilize EEG and show promise in the treatment of mental and brain health disorders. The presenter will outline ANT Neuro’s strategy for new technologies such as AI-assisted diagnosis in mental health, highlight collaborative efforts and present first achievements in automated diagnostic screening, prediction and management of brain health conditions.
