Christoph Zrenner is a Neurologist who has spent the past decade investigating how the neuromodulatory effects of TMS can be optimized by synchronizing the timing of stimulus pulses to specific phases of a simultaneously measured EEG oscillation. He developed the fundamental methodology in the lab of Ulf Ziemann, where he completed is residency, and then moved to Toronto in 2021 where he is working with Daniel Blumberger to translate this approach toward the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
