Ramunė Grikšienė is Professor at the Life Sciences Center, Vilnius University, and leads the Hormones and Brain Function Research Group. Her research lies at the intersection of psychophysiology and psychoneuroendocrinology, focusing on how sex and stress hormones interact with brain function, cognition, emotion, and stress responses. Her group combines EEG/ERP, eye-tracking, peripheral psychophysiological measures, hormone assessments, and behavioral methods. Her current work places particular emphasis on women’s brain health during hormonal transition periods, including perimenopause and menopause, and on improving our understanding of individual variability in brain and behavioral responses to hormonal change.
